BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The Ho-Chunk nation closed its casinos temporarily to fix a snarled computer program. The tribe was not forthcoming with an explanation for the failure, but sources said a fix could take several days. Casino doors were locked at Black River Falls, Tomah, Wisconsin Dells and Wittenburg. The Ho-Chunk casino at Madison had issues with its Rewards Club program but remained open. The Nekooska casino shut down only briefly.
