MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota state trooper pleaded guilty to texting three photos from an accident victim’s cell phone to his home computer. The photos from the female victim showed her exposed breasts. The incident was in March 2020 when the officer, Albert Kuehan, 37, responded to an accident on Interstate 94 northwest of Minneapolis. He called medics for the woman driver and asked for her cell phone. While waiting for medics to help the woman, Kuehne sat in his patrol car and sent the photos to his home computer. Two months later, the woman’s manfriend noticed on her laptop that her cell phone, which was synched to the laptop, had been accessed and the photos had been sent to an unknown number. The friend called the number. Kuehne answered. Kuehne was put on administrative leave. He was fired in October after an internal investigation. In court Kuehne pleaded guilty to nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.
