WINONA, Minn. – Police issued a reminder that dogs are not allowed on the East Lake path or at Lake Park. Why? To protect ducks and geese and other waterfowl. West of Huff Street, however, on the West Lake path, dogs are allowed. Be wary on West lake, however, about attacking redwing blackbirds. They’re a mean bunch.
