WINONA, Minn. — Police received a call that a bomb exploded in the 900 block of Frontenac Drive near the A&W root beer stand. Officers found nothing. The call had come from another country.Police chalked it up to “swatting,” a deceptive call to a dispatcher to send emergency responders to a particular location. The swatting came in about 1 p.m.
