WINONA, Minn. – A Winona man, Adam Richard Peterson, 45, was arrested and a charge of drunken driving recommended to the county attorney. Officers said they had pulled Peterson over for speeding through an alley on Fifth and Lafayette streets. Police said a breath test measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.10% — 20% more than allowed to drive. The arrest was about 2:30 a.m.
