WINONA, Minn. – Police tasered and arrested a bleeding man who they say lunged at an officer with clenched fists and wouldn’t back off. This happened about 4:05 p.m. at Levee Park Drive. An officer on foot patrol had spotted the man bleeding from his face and sweating profusely and asked to help. The man, agitated, charged the officer and yelled vulgarities that he would kill him, the officer said. The officer retreated but the man kept coming. After being tasered , the man, Kevin James Harmston, 24, of Altura, was taken to the hospital for his injuries. Police said that Harmston refused to explain what had caused his injuries.
