WINONA, Minn. — Police traced a hit-and-run accident to a Fountain City woman and cited her for leaving the scene. Police said that Darlene Mary Marquette, age 80, admitted to hitting a parked car in the Hy-Vee grocery store parking lot. She told officers that she waited about 15 minutes and drove off only when nobody showed up. A witness gave police the plate number on Marquette’s Toyota van. This was about 12:50 p.m.
