WINONA, Minn. – Enrollment at the Cotter Schools in Winona grew slightly this fall to 988. That’s 17 more than last year and 80 more than the year before. Spokesperson Mike Swenson said some growth has been from schools that don’t offer Cotter’s range of courses through 12th grade, such as Montessoris. Also, he said, some students discovered Cotter through online courses during the CoVid pandemic. Swanson noted that  international recruiting has attracted 20 foreign students.
