WINONA, Minn. – With the Pfizer Covid vaccine now approved for children as young as 12, Winona County authorities are working up plans to find young and willing arms. The county’s emergency management coordinator, Ben Klinger, said in a KWNO radio interview that he’s talking with Winona, Lewiston and St. Charles schools on the best ways to get shots to students. Until now, eligibility for vaccine had extended only to 15-year-olds. In recent weeks the Covid spread has really been in mostly among teens, Klinger said.
