GALESVILLE, Wis. – The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District will shift high school students entirely to online learning Monday because of COVID infections. In a letter to parents, the district said that five students and one staff member bad tested positive. As a result, 50 students and five staff members went into   quarantine. Whether any in-class learning can be resumed will be decided after Thanksgiving, the district said. The high school had been on a hybrid in-person and online learning model. The district’s elementary and middle schools will continue in-person learning.
