WINONA, Minn. – A shortage of CoVid test kits has significantly reduced testing capacity at Winona Health clinic. Rachelle Schultz, Winona Health president, said 550 to 600 tests were being administered a day but now it’s limited to 200. She blamed a nationwide supply bottleneck that started when demand rose sharply several weeks ago. Schultz said the clinic testing site will need to close, at least temporarily, when the supply is exhausted. She said options include over-the-counter tests at pharmacies. and saliva testing at the Winona Mall. There also is the new federal website that mails free test kits. she said
