WINONA, Minn. – The first COVID vaccines for Winona inoculations will arrive early next week, said Rachelle Schultz, chief executive at Winona Heath. Vaccinations will begin right away, she said in an interview on radio station KWNO. In the meantime, the Winna Health clinic staff is in training, Schultz said. The vaccine is the Pfizer product that has been kept at minus-80 degrees from production in Kalamazoo, Michigan, all the way through delivery to key points nationwide. The priority recipients will be front-line health care workers and residents of long-term care facilities. Schultz said.
