NELSON, Wis. — A hunter found himself in pain and unable to walk after falling from a tree in the Tiffany Wildlife Area. Rescuers found the man after a two-hour search and got him 40 miles to an Eau Claire hospital. Rescuers said the man was 32 years old and from Sulphur, Louisiana. He was up Star Coulee Road near Maxville, roughly halfway between Nelson and Durand. It was opening weekend of deer season
