MINNEAPOLIS – A 911 police dispatcher, Jena Scurry, told the court at the Derek Chauvin tmurder trial that she sensed somegthing wrong as she watched live street video of the George Floyd take-down from her headquatters office. Scurry said she was bothered given the length of time that the scene seemed frozen on the video with George Floyd face-down and motionleess ont he pavement and Chauvin, astride Floyd, not moving either. When she recognized there no video glitch, it was clear, she said, that something was wrong.  Odd too, she said, there had been no police call for back-up. On “gut instinct,” Scurry said, dhe alerted the sergeant in charge.
