BUFFALO CITY, Wis. – The body of a Prescott man was recovered near the Buffalo Slough boat ramp on the Mississippi River off Buffalo City. Dennis Freidel, 74, had been missing since his small fishing boat capsized three days earlier. The body was found by the Fort McCoy dive and rescue team, which was called in after local agencies exhausted their search resources.
