BROOKYN CENTER, Minn. –A Brooklyn Center man was attacked and injured fatally by dogs in his backyard. Killed was Dezmond Ray Thomas Trawick, age 22. Police said that most of his clothing had been ripped off and he had extensive bites. He was intubated at the scene and taken to a hospital, where he died. Police had been called about 12:15 p.m. to the 5700 block of Halifax. They deployed less-lethal rounds, which hit one dog. The dogs, all pit bulls, ran off. Trawick didn’t own the dogs but was taking care of them for the day. The dogs were rounded up and quarantined.
