WEAVER, Minn. – A Winona woman, Esther Viola Waas, 75, was killed when she drove into a stalled vehicle on the right shoulder on Highway 61 between Winona and Weaver. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her car, a 2009 Toyota Celica, rammed the stalled vehicle, left the roadway, and overturned. No one was in the stalled vehicle, a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. Both vehicles were in southbound lanes. The accident was about 11:10 p.m.
