ARCADIA, Wis.  – The 18-year-old driver of a car was killed Friday morning when she crossed the centerline and struck a shuttle van. The vehicles hit head-on, deputies said. Killed was Amya Meyer of Altoona, a suburb of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She was alone in her car. The shuttle driver, Jason Galewski, 43, of Eau Claire, and passenger Lonnie Pearson, 52, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, were injured and taken to a LaCrosse, hospital 40 miles away. The other two passengers, Johnathan Thompson, 56, and Keith Blackdeer, 48, both of La Crosse, were uninjured. The collision occurred south of Arcadia on Highway 93, near German Coulee Road.
