SPRING VALLEY, Minn. – An Illinois driver was hurt, apparently not seriously, in a two-car collision just northwest of Spring Valley on U.S. Highway 63. As a precaution, Keli Jean Thompson, 63, of Robbins, was transported 30 miles to a Rochester hospital to be checked over. Fillmore County deputies said that Abigail Renae Dickinson, 25, of Waverly, Iowa, driving a 2011 Dodge Caravan, was stopped to make a left turn. The pavement was wet, deputies sad. Neither Dickinson nor a passenger, David Donald Masker, 23, of Tripoli., Iowa, was hurt. They were in a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Both vehicles were headed south into Spring Valley. The accident was about 1:30 p.m.
