LACROSSE, Wis. – A car coming downtown off the Mississippi River bridge crashed into another car. The impact shoved both vehicles into an old building at the corner. One driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No pedestrians were in the way. Police said one driver, southbound on Third Street, ran a red stoplight and was struck by the car coming off the bridge. The building on Third Street and Cameron was damaged but not structurally. Police cited the driver who caused the crash.
