DAKOTA, Minn. – A LaCrosse woman coming down Four-Mile Hill on Interstate 90 struck a guardrail and went off the road and overturned. Amanda Vera Lewis, 22, was taken to a LaCrosse hospital with head injuries. She was eastbound in a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. The accident was about 4:20 p.m., a mile short of Dakota at the Dakota Valley Road overpass. The pavement was dry, deputies said. There was an initial report that the vehicle was burning, but it wasn’t so.
