EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – After four days of deliberation a jury returned a verdict of guilty against an Eau Claire man who hid the corpse pf a drug overdose victim in his house. Sentencing for Roger Minck, 56, was scheduled for March. Minck was found guilty on all charges he faced:
> Hiding a corpse.
> Maintaining a drug trafficking place.
> Delivering narcotics.
In 2018 a Gilmanton man, Toby Cleasby, disappeared. Police searched for a month, even dragging the Chippewa River, before finding his body in Mincks’s house. An autopsy blamed death on an oversdose of a toxic mix of drugs. Police concluded tat Cleasby had gone to Minck’s house to pay for drugs.
