PAUL, Minn. – Autumn reds, yellows and bronzes are showing up in northern Minnesota almost a month earlier than usual.Val Cervenka, the state forest health program coordinator, said the drought already has had an impact, especially in the driest counties in the north and west. The color peak in southeast Minnesota usually is late September through mid-October.
