LACROSSE, WIS. — A downtown restaurant fixture on Third Street is closing. The owner of Fayzee’s, Kelsey Williams, said that difficulties caused by the workforce shortage led to the decision, as well as well as supply problems. The last cinnamon rolls from the Fayzee bakery and the last dessert served to tables will be October 8, Williams said. Fayzee’s has been in business since 1987.
