MADISON, Wis. – Governor Tony Evers intends to extend the statewide mask mandate through mid-January. This will be his fourth public health emergency order since the pandemic began. Some have been more expansive than others. The new order will be limited to masks, Evers said. “I think that’s where we’re at at this point in time,” he said. So far into the pandemic, almost 2,800 Wisconsinites have died amid a total of 331,000 cases.
