MINNEAPOLIS – Anyone who’s ever considered running a restaurant with a Ferris wheel where meals are served may be in luck. Betty Danger’s Country Club in northeast Minneapolis is for sale. Included in the $4.2 million asking price is a custom-made Ferris wheel imported from Europe in 2014. There are other outdoor attractions too, like the Putt-Putt miniature golf course that weaves around the grounds. The place calls itself “a campy dystopian and politically inspired bar/restaurant serving delicious cocktails and beer.”  Food too. The place  closed during the Co-Vid pandemic but reopened under a new brand name: Betty Danger’s Animal Farm with pink-themed cues and art from the George Orwell satirical satire “1984.”

Need a refill? You’ ll have to wait for a waiter until your next cycle on he Ferris wheel stops for a minute at the boarding station on the ground.
