LAKE CITY, Minn. – A Lake City man died at a Rochester hospital from injuries suffered in a single-car crash. Clayton Brandt, 41, was extricated from the car about 12:20 a.m. He was airlifted to Saint Marys Hospital, where life support was suspended at 7:18 p.m. Brandt was a volunteer firefighter. It was fellow firefighters from the 22-member department who rescued him from the wreckage.
