PRESTON, Minn. – Fillmore County recorded its first COVID death, losing its distinction as one of two Minnesota counties without any fatalities from the disease. The county, population 21,000, has had 1,098 cases. Cook County at the tip of the Arrowhead, population 5,100, has not recorded any COVID deaths.
