WEAVER, Minn. — The body of an 89-year-old man was found floating in the Mississippi River backwaters, apparently having fallen from his fishing boat. Sheriff Rodney Bartsh declined to release the man’s name until his family is located. The body was retrieved near the boat about 7:30 p.m. The boat’s motor was still running.
