WINONA, Minn. – Nursing home residents with memories of Steamboat Days parades from long ago watched their special edition of this year’s parade outside Lake Winona Manor. Thirteen units, including the Winona Crown Club, made the parking lot circle under clear skies at the east end of Lake Winona. So too the Fire and Police departments and American Legion.
Senior royalty. With crowns and family-in-waiting. And the Little Warriors drum line.
