ALTURA, Minn. – An Altura driver flashed either his high beams or a light bar at an oncoming car. Big mistake. It was a sheriff’s deputy coming at him. The deputy sped around 180 degrees and stopped Pedro Zacarias-Aguilar, 27. This was about 11:30 p.m. Zacarias-Aguilar was in no shape to be driving, the deputy said. His eyes were bloodshot and his balance was off. His blood-alcohol content tested at 0.20 %, compared to the legal max of 0.08%. He was given a lift to jail, where he remained through the weekend.
