WINONA, Minn. – Retired Sheriff Dick Johnson, who died in September 2020, was given full military honors in a three-volley salute at Lake Park. VFW Post 1287 provided the honors. Johnson was sheriff from 1993 to 1996. Among police officers paying respects at the JayCee Pavilion were Sheriff Ron Ganrude in uniform and retired Police Chief Frank Pomeroy.
