MINNEAPOLIS – A judge affirmed his decision to allow live-streaming of the trial of four former police officers charged in the death of George Floyd. The officers’ attorneys had argued that streaming could scare off witnesses. Judge Peter Cahill countered that public interest was a more important consideration, noting o immense global interest. An issue also was that openness would contribute to public confidence in a fair trial.
