lawns-keeper was destroyed by a fire that started in an outside firepit. The stand-alone building was engulfed when firefighters arrived. Deputies said the owner had left a fire in a portable firepit momentarily. The fire spread to a wood pile and then to the garage. The owner lost all the equipment for his lawn-care business. The fire was about 1 p.m.
