ORONOCO. Minn. — First responders pulled a trapped teenager from her vehicle after it overturned several times and caught fire. The girl was unconscious. At a Rochester hospital she was CT-scanned for brain injuries, which yielded hopeful results. Deputies said the girl was westbound toward Oronoco on State Highway 12 — coming down through a rock cut toward Lake Zumbro. She veered off the road and struck the rock wall, then connected with a wire on an electrical pole, and rolled several times. A state trooper, first to arrive, extinguished the fire but couldn’t extricate the girl from the vehicle alone. This was about 12:10 a.m.
