ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Republican National Committee had not responded by Thursday morning with a promised plan on complying with state crowd limits on large gatherings like the Trump rally scheduled for Friday in Rochester, said John Stiles, a spokesperson for Attorney General Keith Ellison. “We’ve not heard from them,” Stiles said. There has talk of 25,000 people at the RST rally – far more than the state’s 250 CIOVID max. “It’s been very one-sided communication,” Stiles said. He acknowledged second-hand information that the rally was being moved from RST to Dodge Center in the next county, albeit still in Minnesota. “We’re getting our updates from Twitter like everyone else,” he said.
