WINONA, Minn. –The mission-oriented Grace Place, which offers refuge and support for people through difficulties, is 30 years old. A birthday celebration is planned Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Toner Center at Saint Mary’s University. The event also will mark the retirement of tireless Grace Place founder Carla Burton. She has been director for 30 years.
