WINONA, Minn. – A driver bumped his car into another car in the Hy-Vee grocery store parking, then offered the other driver cash on the spot to forget it and not call the police. The other driver said, “You gotta be kidding.” The first driver hoofed off and disappeared. The second driver called police Police arrived, checked the registration of the first car, and sent a letter to the owner. Damage to both vehicles was superficial.
