WINONA, Minn. — A woman driver hit another car Saturday morning, then jumped out and flagged down another motorist, who drove her away. Later police arrested Cheyenne Marie Gozdal, 29, at a nearby house. The accident was at Broadway and Franklin streets. A witness said the hit-and-run driver ran a red light on Broadway about 60 mph and struck the second car. Later, as police were interviewing the witness, the driver of the get-away car returned and said she had dropped off the driver at 964 E. Fifth St. There police found Gozdal, whom they reported admitted smoking meth. In the meantime, police learned that the hit-and-run car had been stolen.
