AUSTIN, Minn. — An Austin driver suffered significant injures in a hit-and-run accident about 1 a.m. on Austin’s east-west Oakland Avenue thoroughfare The man, age 65, was taken to the Austin hospital, police said. One of two dogs in his vehicle needed veterinary care for injuries. Police began a search for the driver who fled.
