WINONA, Minn. – A homeowner engaged a bit too energetically in spring yard clean-up. He was pulling a vine off a power line into his house. The line came down on a neighbor’s garage. This was in the 600 block of West Fifth Street about 3 p.m. Firefighters called an Xcel utility crew to restore the line. The vine? It’s gone.
