WINONA, Minn. – Sheriff’s deputies dealt with two unrelated complaints from homeowners about unwanted house guests. Deputies removed a homeless person forcibly from one address. The person had been at a Good Samaritan’s place for two days and wouldn’t leave. This was on Pleasant Ridge Road between Winona and Witoka. In a second call, a homeowner said a guest had overstayed her welcome. Because the person had been “in residence” two months, deputies advised the homeowner about civil recourses for eviction.
