WASHINGTON – The U.S. House voted 220-209 to pass the the For the People bill to make it easier to vote in federal elections, end congressional gerrymandering, overhaul federal campaign finance laws, increase safeguards against foreign interference, and strengthen government ethics. The bill next goes to the Senate.
