DAKOTA, Minn. – The westbound lanes of Interstate 90 at the base of the Four Mile Grade were reopened 2-1/2 hours after a truck lost its load – a whole, ready to lay pre-fabricated house. Somehow, the State Patrol said, the load had shifted. Even after the lanes were reopened, crews were picking litter from the pre-fab.
What’s a pre-fab?
Pre-fabricated houses, also called modular houses, are factory-built and transported to a pre-laid foundation for mounting. The houses are complete with wiring, plumbing. fixtures and appliances.
