WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – Senator Ron Johnson, the top Republican office-holder in Wisconsin, castigated Democrats in addressing the state GOP convention. Democrats, he said, aren’t satisfied with progress against American racism over the past decade and keep pushing for more, more, more. It’s time, he said, for conservatives to “take back our culture.” Johnson said liberals have become grown angrier over the last decade and want to impose everything they want impose their vaules on conservatives. Conservatives, he said, just want to be left alone. He did not discuss whether he himself will seek a third U.S. Senate term.
