WASHINGTON — Senator Ron Johnson added to confusion about whether he sees the Covid pandemic more as a medical or political issue. In a tweet responding to criticism about a media event he’s sponsoring Monday for vaccine critics, Johnson said he favors he vaccine. The tweet was addressed to Governor Tony Evers: “We’re all supporters of vaccines. As I’ve repeatedly said, I’m glad that hundreds of millions of Americans have been vaccinated, but I don’t think authorities can ignore and censor some of the issues. On Monday, we’ll bring light to stories that deserve to be seen, heard & believed.”
