HUDSON, Wis.– A Wisconsin judge blocked a Republican effort to end Democratic Gov. Tony Evers’ statewide coronavirus mask mandate. St. Croix County Circuit Judge R. Michael Waterman ruled the governor has the power to issue multiple health emergency orders in response to the pandemic. A conservative group had brought the lawsuit promised and promised to appeal.
