CALEDONIA, Minn. – High school basketball player Noah King has chosen Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, despite offers from the University of Minnesota, University of Iowa, and Iowa State. Why? King said he likes the idea of having another year to be recruited. Also he likes being only three hours home. With no on-campus visits because of the coronavirus, King noted that he didn’t have a feel for which bigger college would be the be best fit. Kirkwood has won two NJCAA Division II titles the last four years. The Eagles were 24-6 this season.
