Force yourself: Say hello to fall
STOCKTON Minn. –Although autumn doesn’t arrive officially until September 22, most days have a fall feel. The air is crisp. The riverside bar Slippery’s in Wabasha has ordered corned beef for its Oktoberfets menu. Yards are crammed with vote-for-me signs. The Walmart supply of school supplies is running law. Aunt Maude has retrieved sweaters from deep in a closet and heartily shook out the moths.
