CALEDONIA, Minn. – A La Crosse driver was injured when his car left the road and crashed 3-1/2 miles north of Caledonia. Jonathan Rugg, 33, was taken to a hospital with injuries that appeared not too serious. He was alone in the car. The accident was about 5:30 p.m. on State Highway 44 at County Road 20. Troopers said Rugg was traveling south on Highway 44 toward Caledonia.
